What our government is creating is a culture of dependency for all working Americans. President Obama and his Democratic Congress are only deepening the current recession and will inevitably drive us into a depression that we will not be able to dig our way out of. However, as gloomy as that is there is more to fear than a decade or two of depression. If you truly want to know what will happen in the coming years, here’s a sneak preview.

What is happening here in America is nothing short of the liberal faction in Congress forcing a liberal agenda under the guise of economic stimulus. The left’s ultimate goal is to increase welfare to the point that working Americans as well as the unemployed are dependent on the government. Our taxes will soon rise to the point that Americans will not be able live with out government aid.  Inefficient healthcare reforms will pass and Doctors will leave their practices, and Americans in need of immediate care will not be able to get it.  Education will be so diluted with evolutionist theory that God or the prospect of a creator will cease to exist in the U.S. If this Democratic Congress is allowed to continue we will be living under a socialist government where freedom of speech will only be allotted to the minority. Freedom of religion will exist only to those who choose not to believe in religion. Conservative news will be banned. The right to bare arms will only exist for the criminal and Americans will have no protection from a soon to be oppressive government. The right to assemble will be taken away from pro-life groups and abortion will be available to teenagers without their parent’s knowledge. God forbid anyone petition the government, because anyone who opposes Speaker Pelosi and the Democrats are automatically UNPATRIOTIC. 

President Obama has been in office for less than three weeks and already what the American people want and need does not matter. The latest polls show that barely thirty-five percent of Americans approve this stimulus bill, yet it will inevitably pass. The House of Representatives did not consider what their constituents wanted, instead choosing to sneak through their version before the Republicans or the American people could respond. It is no secret that this bill has little stimulus in it; a lot of money to the arts, a lot of money to research groups that do not yet exist, a lot of money to ACORN so it will continue to serve the Democrats, and so much pork that all the hog farms in North Carolina couldn’t keep up with the demand. 

Two hundred leading economists recently signed a petition and sent it to the president begging him to reconsider his program. According to these scholarly men if the government continues with this spending the value of the dollar will diminish rapidly.  I agree with them, if we continue to allow this madness our children will soon be using stacks of money for building blocks while we stand in bread lines.
